GIZ Viet Nam will launch veecom.vn – the Viet Nam Energy Efficiency Community (VEECOM) website to nurture and engage the energy efficiency community in Viet Nam in early 2021. The objective of VEECOM website is to provide useful information for around 2,500 certified energy managers, energy auditors and other stakeholders in energy efficiency in the country.

The website will give the target group the opportunity to exchange information in an online forum, learn from each other and create a platform where members can be matched with service providers. Beside the community forum, the website will support the energy managers, energy auditors and technicians in their daily work by providing calculation tools for energy efficiency, information about available technologies, laws and regulations, as well as reliable energy service providers. Checklist templates to simplify their daily work and best practice demonstration will also be frequently updated. VEECOM members will also get access to e-learning resources and regular competitions to improve their knowledge.

This growing information hub will be available for all stakeholders in the energy efficiency sector and in the long term will help to enhance the coherence of energy efficiency community and provide a mean for life-long learning and sharing.
