In an effort to develop sustainable urban transport (SUT) and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Indonesian cities, the Ministry of Transportation (MoT) under the Directorate of Road Transportation, supported by SUTRI NAMA & INDOBUS has conducted the socialisation of the Sustainable Transportation (SUSTRA) on 22 December 2022. SUSTRA is a microsite under MoT’s official website that will be a one-stop platform for sharing and exchanging information about the progress of mass public transportation systems in Indonesia, allowing stakeholders to share knowledge and insights about the development of these systems in their respective regions. SUSTRA is aimed at stakeholders, especially sub-national governments, who are working on developing and implementing BRT in their respective areas. As it is currently under the development process, the socialisation event paved a platform to gather input and feedback from participants at the national and regional levels that will further improve the site, which is estimated to be completed in 2023.
