To enhance energy efficiency, operational performance, and sustainability practices within the steel and paper sectors, a two-day training program cum workshop on ISO 50001 was organized across 6 clusters and many more are planned in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. Participants from State Designated Agencies (SDAs) attended these training sessions. These trainings aimed to equip participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge to develop and implement energy-saving frameworks, reduce costs, and comply with regulatory standards.
Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of energy management systems (EnMS) and their practical applications. They received hands-on experience with Excel tools and EnMS formats, along with insights into regulatory compliance and industry best practices. The program also offered valuable networking opportunities with industry peers and experts, further enriching their learning experience. Upon completion, participants received a certificate recognizing their commitment to energy efficiency.
