The TUEWAS Energy Working Group meeting was organized as part of the TUEWAS task force on GIZ participation at ACEF to further enhance collaboration and engagement in the forum. The meeting took place with the participation of speaker, transport working group and representatives from climate working group and SNRD Sector Network.
The objective of the meeting was to familiarize participants with regional experiences in planning and implementing energy projects, promote knowledge sharing and exploration of low-carbon energy transition ideas, facilitate networking and collaboration among different projects and sectors, identify potential collaborations. The Energy Working Group’s initial draft of the Action Plan was prepared, which is in line with the objectives outlined in Destination GIZ 2028.
